this is love

1 John 4:9 NIV

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

As I read this, I thought about how many of us would actually send our children to die for someone..I know as a mother, I couldn’t or wouldn’t for that matter.

We are so blessed that God loves us enough to send His only son, to die for a world that was lost….to die for you and for me so we can be saved. To have Him live in us and to live with Him, when He calls us home.

Praise be to our Savior! Oh how He loves us!

Now that’s love!

Have a wonderful blessed love~ filled weekend.

love without fear

1 John 4:18 KJV

~There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.~

YOU can do all things

Have you ever felt like you couldn’t do something? Felt like you wouldn’t make it through a trial or a test? Maybe it was a test of patience, or maybe a school assignment. I’ve felt like that many times. I’m actually going through it now, my own test of patience.

But I have an answer for all that down heartedness! We CAN!

For the Bible tells us, I can do All things through Christ which strengthens me~ Philippians 4:13.

So I want to encourage you today to know that you can make it, you can face it, that crowd, that test, that assignment, whatever it is, we will get our strength, from the one who bore it all for you and me!

Have a blessed day!

pour out

The woman broke her jar and poured out all of her perfume. She lavishly wasted everything that was of value to her. Breaking her jar effectively eliminated any chance of keeping any for her own use, then or later. She gave everything she had-past, present, and future-to Him. Jesus said that people would remember her remarkable love forever.

Then at the last supper, those same words appeared again. He broke His body and poured out His blood for us. He was beckoning us to do what He did: be broken and poured out. Go all in. Hold nothing in reserve. Completely relinquish control. That’s what truly commemorate what Jesus did. Not cherishing a ritual, but being a memorial.

I ask you, are you giving Him all you have today our just saving Him for a certain occasion or problem. God doesn’t want you to just come when you have problems, He wants you to come to Him everyday. Just like the woman who anointed Jesus’s feet, we can touch Him. Pour out your life to Him and surrender all! That’s why Jesus died. He came to pour out His life for us .

What should “broken and poured out” look like in your life?

do you smell sweet?

Ephesians 5:1~2

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Let us put on love today. Let us walk and act as Christ did. Let us offer ourselves to God and sacrifice our flesh to become more like Christ.  Let the love of God overfill you each and every day. Our sacrifices becomes a sweet smell to our Lord.

So I ask you….do you smell sweet?

I hope and pray you all had a wonderful Christ Resurrection Day. I took the week off from posting to humble myself and become closer to God. I wanted to get as close to the Lord as I could during remembering what Jesus went through that week! Praise God! For Jesus is Alive!

Have a Blessed Day,

Palm Sunday

John 12:13 NIV

They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,
“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

The whole story if you want to follow along starts in John 12: 12~19.

This week starts a holy week. Today its Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter. This is the last week of Christ’s life on Earth. From passover to crucifixion, He went through all of this so we could have eternal life with Him…What a time to celebrate!

This week, let’s stop and take the time to celebrate what Easter is all about. It isn’t about eggs or a bunny. It’s about how our Savoir conquered death, hell, and the grave. How He died on a cross and bore out sins, and rose on the 3rd day! Hallelujah! Praise The Lord!

Blessings to you all!

He knows you…

O Lord,
You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thoughts afar off.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me,O God!
How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.
Psalm 139:1~2,17~18

I’m in a praising mood today. With it being close to Easter, I can’t help but think of all that Jesus endured and just how much He loved us.

I’ve drifted away and let my thoughts just center on the absolute love of God and just to know His thoughts toward us are more than grains of sand. We are so important that He understands our thoughts and knows the exact moment we rise and sleep.

I’ve looked all my life for a love like this and to of found it, is more than I can say!

Be swept away today by God…let it be just you and Him today!

we have a Fighter

Have you ever wanted someone to stand beside you? Someone to fight for you? Someone to run too? Maybe a warrior or a soldier? Maybe it’s someone simple, like your parents, best friends, or even your spouse. I have wanted that myself. Though I am a single parent, and I wish to be married again someday, I have found that I have someone greater than anyone I could wish for or run too.

He has known me even before I was born and has been waiting on me to run to him, I just didn’t know it at the time. When I rededicated my life back to God a few years ago, I was hit with a lot of things. The devil tried to bring me down and tell me I would never matter, but I came across a scripture that shows me that I have a warrior that is ready to fight for me and all I have to do is hold my peace! Praise The Lord!!

Just as He fought for the children of Israel, He will fight for you and for me. He is the same fighter, the same warrior, the same commander, and the same God as He was so many years ago. When the enemy is attacking with his tricks and sly remarks, remember and hold to this, that you have a commander that will fight for you. All we have to do is let Him and give Him us.

The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.~ Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

Remember today that you have a fighter that will defend you from the enemy. That all you have to do is stay at peace. Remain in Him and His Word, His peace, His love and He will fight for you! Let Him conquer those traps, let Him break down those walls, let Him ease those doubts!

we have a FIGHTER!

Be Blessed Today!

do you have Faith?

The Bible makes a pretty bold statement when it says this:

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and he is a rewarded of them that diligently seek him~ Hebrews 11:6

So I asked myself that same question..” Do I have faith?”….answer is YES!

I know its so hard to have faith on something that we don’t see or find it hard to believe, but we believe and see with our spirit, our heart. God is all around us and without Him, it really is impossible to do anything. I have found this out the hard way. Life without Him has no direction and will lead to destruction. Yet, with our faith comes growth and strongness, and God will reward those that continually seek after Him!

So I ask you today…Do you have Faith?

keep away….

1 John 5:21 NLT

Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your heart.

God loves His children so much that He wants to be the first thing in their lives. He wants our hearts and our focus centered around him. He tells us to stay away from idols and worldly things so we can remain in Him and and His path. Things of this world can get us off course and lead us destruction. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. This is why God gives us instruction to stay away from wickedly things.

Let’s heed to God’s instruction and play keep away!
