the ONLY way

Seeing souls saved is one of the greatest passions I have, or anyone should have for that matter. To see satan lose and Heaven gain, is so stirring to the soul. It’s a desire of mine as well as a passion to see God change lives and people restored. To see God move in lives that were broken and watch as He can mold the pieces of their lives back together, stirs my faith!

Yet, I wonder if people actually know that God can and will do this. The key, is you have to let Him. The key, is to give up your life and live for Him. The key, is to make Him Lord over all of your life. For us to make it to Heaven, to the place where He went to prepare for us to rejoice forever with Him, we must believe that He, Jesus Christ, is the ONLY way!

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.-John 14:5-6

See, Thomas asked Jesus, how do we know the way, the way to the place to where you are going. Jesus replied, I am the way. It’s when we give our hearts over to Jesus and make Him Lord of our lives that we can get to our expected end. Our life with our Savior. For He laid down His life for His sheep! He is the ONLY way that we can see the Father. The ONLY way for us to make it to Heaven. He is the ONLY way for our sins to be forgiven.

Heart Song

I was driving down the road a few months ago and I heard this song on the radio. From the moment it played, I fell in love with it. I had forgotten the name of the group that sung it and well all together just forgot it. I was in the Christian Book Store last thursday, and I came across a cd that sounded familiar to me. I got to looking at it and there was the song! I was so excited. After paying, I put it into the cd player and listened to the song all the way to pick up my daughter from school. It has helped to encourage my faith and to know that God is my shelter from the storm and He’s become my heart’s desire!

I will forever sing His praises higher!!

Heart Songs

I was listening to the radio on my way to pick up my daughter from school yesterday, and a song that was played just grabbed my attention. It got me thinking back to on a Starry Night so many years ago, the Lord saved me. It also reminded me of the hope that He has always given me, how he has brought me through some of the darkest spots in my life. When I would have given up on me, He didn’t, and for that I could never give enough praise! I want to encourage you to give your life to the only ONE that can give you hope when you don’t have none. For everything that we could ever want is in Him. He is my Starry Night!

Heart Song

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:But whosoever drinketh of water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.-John 4:13-14

Have you ever been thirsty? So thirsty that nothing can quite quench your thirst? Of course! We drink gallons of water, Gatorade, kool-aid, or soft drinks to cool us down when we are dry and need a drink. Have you ever searched for something and not quite found what you were looking for? Maybe it was clothes, paper work, trying to fix a hunger craving that you’re not sure what you want, or is it more?

Have you ever felt like you were falling in a black hole and there’s no way to turn or go? Do you feel like there is no one to talk to or no one to listen? Like there is no way out? There is a way out! There is hope! The way is Jesus and He came to give you a soul drink!

I felt the exact same way about a year ago. I have been blessed with a wonderful christian family and got saved when I was young, but I fell away from God. I decided to take on the world by myself. I still prayed but I was nowhere near being what a christian is. I didn’t give God all of me and I backslid. I fell back into sin and was doing sinful acts. I was searching for something to fill a void in my life and I thought the world could give it to me. I thought that I just hadn’t found what I was looking for so I kept on searching. I was half right. I hadn’t truly found what I was searching for until I heard my dad preach a message on July 04, 2010. It changed my life! God was what I was searching for. He was my spiritual drink. All this time, He had been wanting me to leave all of my past, my mistakes, my sin…to leave it all behind and come to His well. He wanted to be what my soul longed for. He wanted my heart, all of me. He knew how dirty I felt, and how I didn’t even feel like I had the right to pray, but to Jesus it didn’t matter. He cleaned me up, healed and mended my broken heart, and has/is molding me into the christian woman I am today. He has stolen my heart and has quenched my thirst and has given me rest in His arms.

He can do the exact same thing for you. It doesn’t matter what you have done. Just come as you are. He is pleading and patiently waiting on you to come and have a spiritual drink. He is waiting to fill you up and to cleanse you. He has what your searching for, and He will mend your brokeness and give you a joy and warmth that is everlasting. There is no word to describe what He can do for you. Your search will end and your thirst will be quenched. Don’t let Satan tell you that you are worthless and unforgivable. He just wants to drag you down! God is much stronger than that.
This old world will try to fill your void, but it will fail!! Leave all your past behind..Come to His Well!

Heart Songs

On my way back from taking my daughter to school this morning, I heard a song that I have grown very fond of hearing. The song is Matthew West’s ” Strong Enough”. I began to think of all the times that I have said I’m not strong enough to do this or that, when in the end I stood strong! I now know that it was my Faith that kept me going on and standing Strong Enough! I know in this day and time, we are going through so many battles, and there are times that we don’t think we will be strong enough to endure! The advice I have is simple but so hard to do : HOLD ON!! I know that you maybe saying, ” You don’t know my problems or what I’m going through”, and that is true. I know ONE that is though and HE sees it all. He knows when the mountains come and when they will end, but giving up isn’t going to get us closer to the outcome! We must HOLD ON and let our Faith work! We must press toward our prize of the Almighty and He will move in His time! God is Strong Enough! He is Strong Enough to conquer any battle we face! His word tell us in Exodus 14:14 ” The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace”. To me, this tell me that God is Strong Enough and He is going to fight for me! He will fight for you too!! Trust Him. Hold on to your Faith, and when the devil has you down so low you can’t hold any longer, grab hold of God’s unfailing hand and say, I’m Strong Enough!
