That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but of the power of God ~ 1st Corinthians 2:5
Let us learn to put our faith in the power of the cross, and not into the persuasive words of men, for they will not fulfill you!
For we may be in this world, but don’t have to be of this world!
Let us stand on the promise of Christ!

I have been thinking that I want to add a verse of the day. I have an app on my phone that gives me a verse of the day, and I find that these come exactly when I am having a rough day and it seems that the devil is just waging his war against me. I have found that the more that I stand on God’s Word, the more that I pray, the more that I seek His Will above my own, the more the devil throws his fiery darts. This makes me cling more to God and know that He will deliver me out of the valley and replenish my soul!
So my verse of the day is this…
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.-1 Corinthiams 4:20 (NIV)
God just isn’t something or someone. He isn’t just a force. He isn’t a matter of talk, but of power. He will deliver us out of the hands of the devil and He will replenish our souls with His everlasting water!

Have you ever wondered what a promise from God would look like? Well with Noah, He gave us the rainbow. In John 3:16 He gave us everlasting life. There are so many promises in the Bible that God gives to us. In Jeremiah, He tells us exactly how He thinks about us.
God’s thoughts are always for our good. They are always of peace, love, mercy and grace. They are never of evil. He wants good things for us and to bless our lives. He wants to give you a better life and bless you more abundantly so you can live your life for Him to bring you to an expected end. What is an expected end? Its life eternal with Him. Its living FOREVER in Heaven with Him.
If your wondering if God will keep His word, wonder no more! God’s Word rings true! It won’t and hasn’t lied. He will keep His promise, just like after the rain, he honors us with the rainbow. God’s thoughts about each and everyone of us are to the good and blessful. He loves us all with a great and mighty love.
Stand on this promise and hold to God! He will honor His promises!
